The Last Day Of 06

There's no looking back now... In a few hrs... We will be entering the yr of (the 87 JC guys') ORD!!! So exciting... Forgive me for being so "educationist" if there was such a word... I mean what other words to describe 07 at this point of time? Gee let's see... The yr of (88 JC guys') enlistment? The yr of (88 JC girls') enrollment to Uni? Haha besides who would have known that the yr of 06 was like about the execution of Saddam?? Not me man! Been hearing about his life on BBC radio the whole of yesterday evening and this morn... Fine!!! The real reason was cos we wanted to know the live EPL scores today morn... Not sleeping is bad enough... Staying awake without EPL or at least ANY TV show is worse... They were like talking about Saddam and how he murdered thousands yadayada and then suddenly Man U 3 Reading 2, Chelsea 2 Fulham 2 and liverpool 1 spurs 0... Then more about how he was executed blahblah and then Arsenal 0 Sheffield 1!!! OMG that was the shocker! Arsenal lost! Not tt Saddam was executed... How ironic! Then it was back to perfect 10...

Apologies to the non EPL peeps for the opening crap... Now it seems that after the fact tt dec 06 was accelerating and all to its obscure end... Working on boxing day till yest (excluding 27/12) seemed to have decelerated its dubious end... Reality hurts... Especially when u are living in a surreal environment before u crash onto the hard floor... And to add NaCl to the wound... My sleep is being plagued by my inner demons... And the mosquitoes ain't helping... Luckily there are always the angels that cast away my inner demons and soothe the itch from the bites to bring me to a much needed state of peace... The guilt of what I had/had not done (depends on how u look at it) causes much despair in me... But the satisfaction of what I had accomplished seemed to redeem me and ease the sadness, albeit barely... Hopefully I can further redeem myself in 07... I guess I should listen more to my brain... After all it has served me with distinction all the way till this yr when I let it earn a well deserved trip down memory lane for some R&R... Big mistake... It brought back the inner demons... Yup I guess brains aren't meant for slacking... And of course I shall place more emphasis of its advice.

Which brings me to something that I pondered as I travelled down memory lane in my dreams... How apt it is that today is the last day... Makes more sense to reflect on the past, present and future... Let's see where shall I start...
