POP

After 9 weeks of intense training( cos I got silver for IPPT), I finally passed out of SAFPU on 18 May 06, the day Da Vinci Code was released in Singapore... It was a simple parade and I must say arms drill for Provost is a totally new ballgame compared to BMT... Seriously, for 1 day of training, our arms drill is totally much much better than BMT standard. I tell u after seeing the SPDS train, I understand y our arms drill is so professional... Really smart and neat compared to the "shortcut" BMT standard... So fierce was the training tt I got a huge bruise on my arm which is still healing now... Oh wells... I didn't believe tt I would get IPPT silver man... Until I jumped 225 on my 3rd try after failing the 1st 2 attempts... After tt miraculous jump, the rest was "enjoyable". Cleared the 2.4 run with 2 secs to go... After tt it was just eating and sleeping till POP!!! It's sad to leave Provost esp after getting used to the system there... Hope my new unit will be better though it's just GD everyday!!!

In retrospect, I actually spent the nights of Thurs till today at home! I miss my room! Yeah I miss my com too! The vicious behemoth turned mewing kitten... Nvm after NS, wait and see! Yep I miss EVERYTHING in my room... Ai wu ji wu... OMG even chinese too! I must be nuts!

I must admit tt after bloody 4.5 months my voice is gradually coming back... Just lacking the ring... I'm reaching the high notes alr... Whew thought I'll be a permanent bass or smt... Never! Once a tenor always a tenor! (though I can be a bass, nah I'll pass... There are so many pro basses... Need more pro tenors!) The recovery process is slow but I hope it'll be 100% successful. When will the nightmare end? Prob in 539 days...
