Life's Like That

Time passes by like a whirlwind... Last time I blogged it was about Zheng He and the tons of ice cream... Next week it was E=hf (or hv)... Ya life's like tt... Endless pounding of pressure and lots of other stuff. Then last week was a massacre. Period. I think I died when Physics and Econs came and did the classic pincer... So I sacrifised econs... And it failed terribly... So it was a total rout... Electricity and capactiance were so dead... The questions... Ah really made me so bloody sad... Stunned to oblivion. The best thing was I got a stomachache during Maths... Haha so for the first 7 questions I got stunned (and ached...) so I did the back questions... Then Cheryl said I did very fast! Haha ya funny ah! For Physics we were speculating which question Dr Goh set... Must be AC cos it was the only normal question... Then for econs we were saying for the money essay, we shd just stapler some notes and say the role of money is to help us pass econs... I think the ans reply would be to hire a tuition teacher! Oh well... 1 week as usual... Just like last yr... What's new?

So after Thursday's chem, Matt, Reeve, April and me went to Bedok interchange where I introduced them to the best curry (in Bedok duh!)... Ate until I couldn't move... Haha... Then I went home to install Guild Wars... Didn't work... Damn... So I spent the afternoon replaying HL2... on HARD.... And I got HARD all right... 10 shots to kill a barnacle? 3 head shots to kill the soldiers? Madness... And the manhacks... Bloody shit... I watched Lost again... It's quite an interesting show. I stared watching it from the 3rd episode cos the first 2 episodes I had choir pract... Well it got my attension all right... Ya! Wonder if the bear's cute...

Friday I woke up like at 11... Played a bit of champions league... Tried installing Guild Wars again... Then Ben did a voice conference on msn to try out his mike for Battlefield 2... Ok duty called... I went to TM to get BF2... Yes man... That game rocks! It's so totally realistic... It's abt America vs China vs terrorism... Woah the game is so intense... Some maps reminded me of Black Hawk Down... Was crossing the road when the tank shot me... Then I was running along the road with some squadmates while firing on soldiers in the windows of the buildings with the humvee roaring past unloading the machine gun... Sounds of gunfire and shouts of medics everywhere. The cacophony of sound really made the game so realistic... It was like I was fighting a war... Man! That got my adrenalin rushing for the whole day and night...

Sat... Woke up late cos of all the action... So I went to buy another game... GTA San Andreas... Gonna install it soon. Ya then went to meet Chun Meng, Daniel, Reeve and Kar Wee for lan... Ya Played CS... Wha really off form... At least not my usual self... At least I was getting better... Then Reeve switched to CM's tean... Then I got into trouble... Damn... Well the next map was better... Could kill with a lousy rifle... Isreali Defender or smt like tt... Haha! Always buy lousy weps... Then kill and take other ppl's weps! We tried WC 3 but my com hanged... Stupid com... Almost as bad as mine... Then we tried Battlefield 1942 which was the prequel to Battlefield 2... Luckily I played tt games yesterday... To make things worse Reeve played it too! So we both joined the Axis and trashed the Allies... To be fair, they had the numbers and it can actually turn the tide especially when there were 2 Panzer tanks vs 3 Sherman tanks... Then we played more of CS.... Haha this time Daniel was in my team and we took on the 2 pros... Daniel decided tt since he was new to the game... He'll be the bait... And I could not agree more... Daniel's a lucky person... He's a good bait! And everytime he kills them both it's cos I damaged both of them till they're about to die... Haha. His cursor's always forever right despite the person being in front... Maybe he needs to calibrate! HAha no it's cos he keeps spraying as Reeve pointed out... Ya so we spent 9 bucks tt day... I think abt 4+ hours... Wha... So I came home to play a bit of BF 2... It's so nice la...

Today, Happy Youth Day friends! Haha... I went to church and didn't need to play the piano despite the youth ministry leading the service... Haha I know it's ironic but it's because the youth ministry is bursting with talent! They don't need a lousy sight reader like me to play. Ya it's ok with me cos half the songs they sung today I didn't know how to sing. Ya to me I need to hear the song before so that I can bang the chords as an emergency action!(I am a lousy sight reader...) I would be a liability. Oh and the speaker today... He was like saying those who want God to be with them like how he was with Joseph to stand up... Someone enlighten me.... Does it mean tt God will not be with those ppl who were sitting down? In tt case, I am so doomed! So I just prayed tt God will be with everyone in church... I think it's more fair... Ok shoot me if I'm being too idealistic or simplistic... Haha tt's me... If something's not fair, I gotta say something... I guess tt's why I fail GP... Calvin you gotta learn learn learn that the world is NOT idealistic... Stupid Calvin... Oh well life's like that. After church James came my house to play BF2... Really kicked ass( and got our ass kicked in the process). We placed C4, artilleried enemy positions, drove all sorts of vehicles and placed anti vehicle mines everywhere... We even tried flying to no avail... Then we strolled around Bedok Reservoir talking 'bout the good 'ld times... Ahh....
