Whispers Of The Earth

So cute!!! We finally got to meet the Hong Kong Treble choir today and boy were they cute! They were kids who are probably 7 years old! All sops and altos! So cool. The best part is they sing pretty well for (did I mention cute) 7 yr olds. We just went through Laudate Dominum and For the Beauty Of The Earth 3 times and tt was it. So fast and efficient. We then went through a tech/full run and that was it! Show time!!!!

We sang Laudate Dominum as a combined choir. Then it was the HK treble choir's turn to sing while we slacked backstage. It was followed by Edward Becheras Vocale(EBV), the group that I mentioned yesterday. I might add that they were so pro they sounded better than us! But then again they have real pros in that choir like Gabriel Chow and co... Their Celtic Blessing and Ave Maria was damn good. Jian Hao's solo for Ave Maria and For The Longest Time was damn bright and gentle. Haha too bad he was a bit soft.

After another appearance by the HK choir, it was out turn. We sang 3 Christmas Carols It's Christmas Time, O Holy Night and The Magic Of Christmas (though Christmas was over). Whaa damn slack. It's Christmas Time was mediocre, O Holy Night was all blasting (cos of the tenors). However The Magic Of Christmas was cool. I really enjoyed it!!! I was singing my heart out for that song... Then the HK choir sang 2 more songs before we combined for the last song For The Beauty Of The Earth. And tt was it!!

This concert is the 2nd slackest concert I have performed in. The slackest concert was the 2 choral festival performances where we only needed to sing songs. At least we sang 5 this time... The concert was damn slack and short, only 1 hour long. Damn cheat money... Anyway we then went out to take some pictures and after that we were dismissed!!! No more choir for the rest of the year(or what's left of it...)!!!
