Li Hui And The Mystery Of The Winamp Player

At 12 am plus today, I was scanning my computer for viruses when Li Hui asked me whether I got Winamp Player. Who doesn't this days? So she asked me to connect to some IP address. Before I describe what happened, I have to write good things about her first (at her own request/threats)...

Li Hui is from the same class as me. She is a house captain of Lynx house. Now VJC has many classes who are divided equally into houses. Kinda like Harry Potter... Anyway, being a house cap, she is fun lovin' happy go lucky person who enjoys action! To prove my point, she just recently went to Cebu, The Philippines for OCIP. She is friendly, kind, and totally a hard core Sylvester fan! For people who don't know, Sly was the runner up in Singapore Idol. I told her I do not dispute that Sly can sing rock and chinese songs but CMI when it comes to other genres but she disputed me and cooed over Sly's I Dream. Talk about being fanatical over someone....

Now after connecting to the IP add she gave me, I listened to what I thought was the radio. I heard some new songs by Daphane, the 3rd last idol to be kicked out. Then she asked me what song I would like to hear. I suspected foul play when she told me I wasn't listening to the radio. I confirmed my suspicions when the next song played was Taufik's Me and Mrs Jones and The Wonders' That Thing You Do. I had no choice but to tell her she rock cos she played my favourite song.

Well I don't know what trickery she used but she sure managed to be "an invisible DJ". That mysterious incident made me ponder about how advanced technology has become, or is it just me? Anyway, the words below are from the second carol I sang today which I will elaborate later...
