Ding Dong Merrily On High And O Holy Night

Today I woke up early at 8 cos I had to go to church. I arrived early so my junior Justin called me to help wheel and old lady from the nearby old folk's home to church so she could attend service. I have been doing this for the past few weeks every Sunday. At the service I listened to the pastor preach about the birth of Jesus and the meaning of Christmas. When service ended, my parents and I went to watch National treasure at Princess Cinema in Bedok.

National Treasure is an interesting and exciting movie about a treasure hunter and his sidekick who refused to cooperate with a rich guy to find the treasure of the Knights Templar of the 1st Crusade. One of the clues was hidden on the declaration on Independence... Go watch yourself to find out what happens... I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars. The 1 star lost was due to a lot of dialouge. However the show has a lot of excitment, tension, suspence and eyecandy chases and explosions. Wow it definately was a exhilarating ride!

After the show, I went to Bugis for carolling!!! Well we did the same thing as yesterday. We had a sound check and sang Gaudete... This time I blasted the solo line! Oh ya Wei Lin's parents were there. Well the songs were more or less the same with a little change in order and for Gaudete I blasted the solo. Well at least it was better and louder than yesterday though the second line was softer as I was not prepared......... Well at least I got one week to polish it up. Next time, no mercy! Haha. Oh ya today something strange happened. Jia Yun, the sop SL came to see us sing rather than sing with us. It's quite strange as the girls are understrength and outnumbered by the guys. We had only 6 sops and altos while we have so many tenors and bases. Why did she come as a spectator instead of beefing the ranks of the sops? I really don't know...

After carolling, the tenor gang, which consists of Wei Lin, Shawn, Joel, Kai Wen and me went to MacD's for dinner. It was very crowded so we went to the other MacD that was not inside Bugis Junction. I mangaged to register my Ez link card and became a MacD member....... Shawn was still quite smitten over Taufik's songs. He even wanted to learn a malay song that he sang. Talk about delusions of grandeur... We discussed about music fest next year if there is going to be one. Haha we are going to join and win it man. After talking about the songs, we went back home.
