In case you haven't noticed, the last 6 post started with 6 individual letters (in italics) that described the Great Escape. Although the process itself didn't seem like a Great Escape per se (as described later on), the change in status and the experience signified a Great Escape. Although the process itself was a formality, but the change in status has untold significance in my life. Indeed, just a day after getting the ultimate promotion, it seems that there is a void in my life. It feels like 1 year and 10 months is missing, sans the driving license... It feels like the status quo back in Dec 05... The feeling of getting a temp job or seeing the world or doing any other miscellaneous things before matriculation into University...
In a bid to recap the events leading to that fateful day on the 05/11/07, it seems I only recall going to NUS via PIE, KPE, ECP and AYE... I must admit it was a breathtaking experience to travel 4 expressways just to go to school to attend this early matriculation briefing. Other than that, I recall meeting WL and Eugene at Cafe Cartel TM for lunch that faithful day and after zipping through PIE and BKE and back, I got my pink IC... Despite losing it for such a long period of time, it was in good condition, as if time stood still...
It may seem anticlimatic but that's it! All I know is that I pulled a Great Escape that fateful day and now I'm moving on with life. And not a moment too soon. Hellgate London is out for PC. CoD 4 and NFS Pro Street are releasing this week. Next week Assasin's Creed and Crysis! OMG and I still gotta get PGR4... 6 games in quick succession... I'm gonna be a very busy man for a while, not to mention a hell lot poorer!
