When The Going Gets Tough...

The tough ain't getting going... Unlike the usual saying, it's time for a different outcome... Now today I was minding my own business (as usual) when the boss told us peeps to gather for a meetin'... Now what he said was history... Cos I can't be bothered at all... But!!! A couple of points stuck up like sore thumbs...

One of them is being late... So 3 x for being late is the benchmark set by his underlings and (feigned of course!) by mere mortals... What say us mortal men compared to the demi gods? These "artificial gods" who just have power because of their positions and not due to their abilities... Back to the point... U give 3 x for someone who is late for duty just cos he, say, overslept... No chances at all!!! That is going a tad too far... So if I, say, come early for bloody 10 months and one day come late, I get 3 x! WTF!!! So I don't even get a 2nd chance... Fine! Then I must insist that we mortals get incentives for being early... It is a tremendous effort after all (trust me getting up at 5 everyday is indeed so!)... Perhaps 1 OIL for being punctual per month... But no!!! No such thing... What does this show??? The fall of democracy and the rise of communism... Bloody hell comrades... Long live Mao then... Or maybe Kim eh? Think about it... Tell me is it bloody fair???

Punish punish punish but no incentive... Yes I understand that being a Christian, we must do the right thing... But God also forgave our sins and told us to forgive one another... I don't see this happening... Furthermore what if u don't show a good example? In the book of Titus, Paul instructs the protagonist to ordain leaders who are of sound doctrine, AND lead by example... So from the Bible, we see that Christians should do the right thing, forgive ppl and lead by example, among many other things... I'd admit I'm not of sound doctrine and I don't lead by example... But I'm trying to... Are u trying too? Nope... The way I see it... Do the right thing... Check... Forgive others for their mistakes? Punish punish punish... Fail... Lead by example? Fail... Come late never get punished... Lots of other secret stuff... No punishment... Nil... Zilt... Zero... Call urself a Christian...

O Lord, here my cry... I pray for the organisation tt I am serving... I pray tt it will right itself to be the organisation I once knew when I first came, and not fall into the lure of communism... I pray that u will open the eyes of my boss, so that he sees the error of his ways and repent... That he shows a good example to us and also learn to be like u, a forgiving God... I pray that u would make him come to his senses quickly, before the organisation sink deeper into the quagmire... I pray that conditions will improve so that we mortals can serve the organisation with Pride, Discipline and Honour... So that we will be motivated to do our very best and to be good examples ourselves... I leave my fate and the fate of the organisation in ur vey hands.

Amen...

Failing that, then pandemonium will occur... It's every man for himself... Alliance of conveniences will be formed... Then, the ppl who emerge unscathed will be those who are adept in diplomacy, adaptation and "wayang"... And when it really comes to that, generally, the cunning and unrighteous few will win... Do u want that to happen? Think about it...
