The Prelims unoffically ended today with Chem MCQs... After 2 plus weeks of insanity and madness, I am sad to say that I'm probably as lost as the cast and crew of LOST... Now if only I'm equally as pro as them... Oh well the truth will be known next week... I bet it'll be as tense as getting an emmy or an oscar... Haha... Some interesting thoughts on the exams.... As I was doing probablity, I was thinking abt the probablilty of getting As... Probably follows a poisson distribution... and there is a 100% confidence interval for getting 0 to 100 marks.
Next, Chem... I was left to ponder about the 7Ks which are all temperature dependant... Biochem! I think if I die I'll probably be buried with starch cos biochem and the 7 Ks killed me... Today's chem MCQ was like killer... I suspected 5 q or more were S Paper questions... Hmm... Oh during paper 3 my alarm rang! That was the most shocking thing tt could ever happen... Phone set on silent mode, inside the bag, and yet the alarm was unaccounted for... Big mistake by me... Oh well it's "That Thing You Do", mind the pun...
Physics!!! Time can be quantised??? Give me a break! Haha I actually pressed the constants... Not a nice number I must add... Haha well it was an amusing question! Radius of 3 spheres divide by 3... I'm gonna get a Nobel Prize for Math if tt's correct... Ion engines... I was thinking abt Star Wars and y it didn't exist in real life... No wonder I left 7 marks blank for that question... MCQ madness... Quite surprisingly I got stumped by the resistance q and the momentum q... So disappointing... Spent 5 mins each on both and couldn't get the ans. I think I got tricked by the photoelectric question too... Sorry Einstein, I let you down.
GP... I think I need to go see a GP... No mass media question... So it was back to war and earthquakes... Man and after shortly after GP exams, Katrina stuck US and it would have gave me great points...
Econs... Paper 3 was as bad as the Katrina disaster... Yuan revaluation came out for paper 2 surprisingly... I don't think Cambridge will ask tt q for A levels... I think it'll prob come out for our juniors... Haha so it was a kinda data analysis + GP kinda writing style... Paper 1 was totally different from my pro econs friends... Ah well, tt's 7 hrs worth of time anyway... I won't expect much...
A few good people... Matt (Lau, Ling), CM, HW, KAr Wee and me went to watch Jack Neo's latest dig at the government... Nice try esp abt the casino debate... Really funny... Who can forget the cockles song, the crude Hoikken words and the otah incident? Totally original... The only thing abt the show was the ANTI CLIMATIC ending... It's so stupid seeing people waving the yellow ribbons man... So lame... Such Propaganda... Really anti climax... Can't they pin it on the shirt like what the newscasters are doing... At least tt's reasonable... Nobody's gonna wave the yellow ribbon as if they are waving the national flag... Reality check man... (Maybe it's just me)
