I got a shock on Friday. Ok it happened during chem lesson. Miss Wong was explaining about the cyanide ion and I just asked why the lone pair of e from Carbon was used for dative bond formation instead of Nitrogen... She suddenly just said "I don't like to be disturbed when I'm explaining smt!" That was sooo scary! The whole class was like stunned... And I was like "what have I done wrong this time?" Man... Sometimes I can't suppress my curiosity! I think tt dented my morale a little... Hiaz... Should learning be more important than etiquette? I think it'll make a good GP question! So I'm still pondering on why life is so weird... Back in Sec sch or JC1, it was normal for students to shoot questions... Ya so I wonder if it's just me or has the protocol changed? Maybe it's part of "teaching less learning more"... I can't find a better reason than that!
I just gotta admit tt my JC teachers are a funny lot! Totally different from sec sch teachers... Sec sch teachers are more hardworking, more "naggy" and more approachable generally. JC teachers are the extremes of the "spectrum"! On one side we got the extremely sociable ones like Dr Goh or Mr Choy to name a few. On the other side we have teachers like Miss Wong or Mr Tan (at least in my opinion, I'm sure the soccer boys will BEG to differ) who are unapproachable... Not to say tt it's wrong but I feel that tt should not be a characteristic of a teacher... Teachers should be friendly, helpful, and strict when neccessary! Ya and of course the rest are somewhere in the middle. Haha ya so JC teachers are a weird lot! Take Mr Chan... Sometimes he's nice, sometimes he has "PMS"... Well as they say, smart people are weird or eccentric! Anyway I think I'm just being an idealistic person... No wonder I'm in GPR...
On a lighter note(literally), Chopin's Waltz in C# minor is super hard to play...It's very nice with all the chromatics and minor chording... Really flows well... I was trying to sight read it but failed to even keep time... I think it's crazy to play it fast! Bloody hard... Ok it's not as hard as Sonata Pathetique or Fantasie Impromtu or flight of the bumble bee... Nonetheless I find it damn hard!!! Freak it's supposed to be an ok song for Grade 6 man... How come I can't play it easily??? Help! I'm like spending 5 mins on a page...
