National Day's Eve

Today's "celebrations" was more of "candid camera"... Ok I was probably one of the slackest person to come to sch... Haha I came to sch in red Man U shirt with short pants and sandals... Haha it was totally better then the ppl who ponned... At least I bothered to come! Haha anyway another reason why I dressed like tt is cos I planned to go tanning latter after sch... But it rained... Anyway, I managed to escape the PE teachers! Ya! Am I pro or what? What?? Even Dr Goh was quite shocked... I told him as long as I don't get caught I'll be ok... Anyway I was in a win win situtation... If they didn't catch me, I could enjoy the concert (which I did, not because it was interesting, because it was funny)... If they caught me and barred me from entering, I'll just go tanning earlier... Ya... So with a little luck, I evaded the PE teachers... Haha the rest of the teachers didn't care... I don't know why the PE department is so strict... Anyway, so we all went to the parade square... Saw Chun Meng, Hui Wen, Ben, Ian, and Bong... Ya they were quite shocked at my choice of clothes... Mr Leeba jabbed me by saying "why must be ManU?? Liverpool and Arsenal also have red shirts." I didn't reply... Then the action started...

Our parade commander, no offense to him, shouted some commands in Malay tt sounded weird... Ian said "well done" so I thought it was kinda ok, he's from Scouts after all... Then a Katong Convent girl opposite our sch shouted the same command which was like 10 times louder... Woah!!! Ian quickly added "but can be improved" How can a guy be softer than a girl?? Haha seriously, where is the power?? Perhaps the wind was stronger on our side... The it was time for the house flags to be carried to the front... It was ok till the end... When the music ended and the flag bearers scurried to the front... A little awkward... Then the stunner... During the chorus of the National Anthem, the unimaginable happened... The flag fell all the way down... It was so stunning tt some ppl gasped in shock... From then on, I think nobody finished the national anthem... Duh, the National flag fell... What an unauspicious incident. Anyway the guy raising the sch flag was smart... He immediately stopped raising the flag, which was the right thing to do and lowered the flag after the Anthem... Ya then they switched the flags and tried to solve the prob while we went into the hall... I pity the guy who dropped the sch flag... He prob felt the full weight of the Nation in his hands... From what Ian told me, I wonder how many "down 20s" he gotta do... Poor chap... Can't blame him... Like I said earlier, it must have been the strong winds...

The concert was ok... I didn't really pay attension... I was talking to my friend.. Ya then there was this cute little video on what students and teachers say abt Singapore... One teacher said the area of Singapore was 629.7sq km correct to 4 sf... Damn pro la... Some GP teacher was saying Singaporeans are like coconuts because every part is useful blar blar... Some teacher said we shd have 7 day work week but 2 hrs of work! Haha. Alex, Alex thought Singapore's area was 10^47 sq km or smt like tt... Joker sia... No wonder he didn't come... He prob hid his face at home... Some girls commented tt if women could go through childbirth, they could go through NS... Really amusing stuff... And lightning does strike twice... The macaroni flag tt they built fell too... Hiaz... I really didn't know what to say after tt...

I met Wl, Shawn, Eugene and Shi Hui for Pizza Hut lunch... We tried the new cheesy pizza... Freaking nice la... There is a lot of cheeze... It kinda looks gross with the chesse coming out but it is damn delicious... I hope the offer won't expire anytime soon... I must go eat again man...
