Fun yesterday, Confusion today

Yesterday was a fun day. We had PE and it was damn slack. Take height and weight then ran 4 rounds( though Matt Lau and me gave a 25% discount!!!). After that was floorball. I was in white team and I slacked at the goalpost. Didn't need to run and run. Just guard the goal. The only time I was called to action was when the black team broke through the midfield with 2 against me. Wha no chance la... My defenders all became strikers... Only me to handle the 2 strikers. The ball so small, the post so big... Sure score one. No choice have to run up...Then the striker did the expected thing... Pass to the other striker... I tried to tackle with the stick but it was too short. No chance it was an open goal. Haha I then became defender but didn't do much... The ball was bogged in the midfield. Then my team let in another goal and I became the goalkeeper again. Other then some close chances, I didn't really had to move... Freak la the 1st goal... 2 against 1 lor and no last man...

During CT session Mr Lee brought 2 windchimes that produced the A note. Cool stuff. Both produced As but 1 was a little flatter, it's still A but a bit lower the freq... Definately less then quarter tone... He was talking abt peer appraisal and about our journey or smt like tt. Didn't finish though. I guess I'll wait till next week to see what the windchimes are for.

Then some of us went to the chem talk by some French chemistry nobel prize winner. He was talking about chemistry to life... Something about the big bang to the double helix and then viruses. Something about molecules forming cells to process information and identify other cells... Really had no idea on what he was talking. Maybe cos I don't take bio... Anyway the food was cool. They had lots of good stuff. Tuna puff, fishballs, durian puffs, chicken pie etc.

After that I went for choir. Tenors were learning Pamugun. Wha brings back some good memories about choir olympics... Anyway I was teaching Asik the notes to sing and learning the other songs cos I wasn't there. We then went to siglap... Combined with Nelson... The sound was quite bad. The girls were not confident at all. They came in correctly but half hearted so it made the notes flat. Sad... Anyway I was sight singing Lux Aurumque for the 1st time!!! Wha luckily that song is super easy. Hold the same notes for so long. I even had to sing the T2s B and A # cos they weren't sure! Haha so amusing. Then was Uri Tsafon(Rise Up O North Wind). It's a nice song. Luckily I learned it before back in Tk. Haha I was sight singing that song too...At least I sang that song before. Luckily Marcus my junior from Tk was standing next to me. We were correcting each other. I correct the pitch he correct the words... Then came Pamugun. Wasn't prepared for that song but I did my best... I think it was flat... Sad must concentrate and support more. The year 1s were like so stunned cos we did it so olympic style, damn fast. Wha Gracia's scream damn power Nelson and some year 1s got a shock la. Then we went all sight sang Yerushalayim shel zahav(Jurusalem of Gold). That song is damn nice but the words are foreign cos it's in Hebrew... Haha. This year's SOV's gonna be in Esplanade. First half will be pieces by composer Eric Whitacre. Second half's gonna be pieces in Hebrew, Indonesian(done by Chorale) and Chinese. Really looking forward to SYF and SOV in May!!! After choir the usual gang went to eat dinner at Bedok. This time we invited my Tk juniors Marcus and Dennis and 2 VS juniors from bass, Edwin and Nicholas.

Today I went for Maths and Chemistry S paper lecture. So demoralising!!! I don't know how to do the questions. Then the teacher explain so fast I couldn't catch up... Die liao. I came out of the LT dazed, confused and demoralised... I think I'm gonna become insane soon. The questions are really madness... I need to think... Focus focus.......
