Choir Practice Today!!! Another full swing session to learn and polish up SOV songs... It's in May but we're starting early... In fact for 2 days(Wed and today) we learned like 5 songs already. That's damn fast...(Ok the year 2s had a headstart of 2 songs and 3 songs for me). What can I say... We definately can improve... We just need more practice to build our confidence and improve on our sound cos our warmups was like damn sucky, Nelson took 20 mins to make us sound choral. That's damn bad and it reflects badly on us... We also definately don't blend but I guess it's expected... Well most of the songs were flat... Lux, Uri, tt Yerushalayim shel zahav song... Hope we'll improve. Just a sidenote, Gabriel Chow's damn loud. I exprienced it first hand today. Wha he was standing next to me and my ears were like vibrating madly I thought it would burst... Resonance... Oh Yerushalayim shel zahav is a damn nice song too. Wha most of the songs are nice though Lux is slack and clash chord song. Haha anyway today for Pamugun the T2s had to sing B1 for some parts cos I guess the T1s are loud(it wasn't me!). We also added some new dynamics to the song which made it damn cool!!! Haha we gotta up the ante cos some other JC's gonna do it for SYF... We learned Zhu Li Guan also. Nelson decided to cut 3 pages of the score cos it was boring. YES!!! No more doong noong and looong... Always didn't know which 1 to sing anyway:)!
Went pooling after choir pract. Quite surprised that it ended early today... Maybe cos SOV's so far away or maybe cos it's only the 2nd pract I dunno... Well the usual gang and Marcus my junior went to play pool. Wha so ex... Play for 1 & a half hour pay $5 bucks... I think I'm gonna be broke... Anyway cannot slack liao... Now that the seniors are gone and 05 is the year of SYF, I gotta go improve my singing, support, tone etc... I dunno how but I just gotta do it. Hmm my falsetto's getting better(I think so). I think the range improved... Can reach those Sop notes... My high notes are still loitering in the B range...... Haha KBox improves the range but not the style... Pop and choral are totally different... Throat sound the main diff... So I guess I have to practice singing chorally since my range's there... No more throat sound! More Josh Groban(I dunno who to emulate!). Ok no link... I also watched Dungeons and Dragons today... Wha the show makes me want to play the game... Shit I don't have it lor... It's a damn old game... I wonder if I can still find it or not...
